I love getting to capture weddings of family members of former clients. So many familiar faces, some of the family already knows who I am, it’s just is a comforting feeling when it happens!
I captured Dan’s sister’s wedding the year before, and was so excited to hear from Ashley around this time last year. Ashley still hadn’t chosen a venue (and therefore a date wasn’t official yet either) but she wanted me to be wherever they ended up, which is so flattering and I’m so humbled when clients say things like that.

Here are some of my favorite images from Dan + Ashley’s day. They chose some gorgeous spots for pictures, and I couldn’t get enough of the Lake Michigan backdrop!

Fun Fact: Dan + Ashley’s wedding date was the most popular date of 2018!

Gosh I love Milwaukee! We kept saying that we felt like they actually had a destination wedding! Such a gorgeous spot!

This little cutie was dominating the dance floor in her tiny pink chucks all night and I could hardly handle it!

Also, Fun Fact #2: there is always at least one person at every wedding that knows how to dance like Michael Jackson. Always.
