Jamie + Jordan | Married | Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

October 27, 2019

I know I’ve said it about 20 times, but it truly was an honor to shoot Jamie + Jordan’s wedding day. I’ve known Jamie since high school, then we both ended up in Milwaukee, and by some random chance ended up in the same circles of friends. I remember meeting Jordan, we were going to see a show for a friend of ours. I remember seeing the way Jamie looked at her and wondering who this girl was cause clearly Jamie was in love with her.

Seeing these two together is so special. They have so much love for each other, and care so much for each other. Looking out for each other. They still look at each other the same way they did when I first met them at the start of their relationship. It was also great to watch their families. So much love and support is behind their relationship, so many amazing friends and loving family members. Jamie’s grandpa officiated which made the ceremony all the more sweet.

Jamie + Jordan’s wedding day was a bit gloomy, it rained most of the day, luckily a few breaks at all the perfect times allowed us to grab portraits. But even with the rain, moving the ceremony inside, and time crunches, I never heard anyone complain or be negative. Jamie + Jordan were calm and positive all day long. They rolled with the punches and enjoyed the ride. It was refreshing to see them so clearly understand what the day was about. They were there to get married, a little rain wasn’t going to stop them!

Here are a few of my favorite images from their day!

Can we talk about these groom’s ladies?

Let’s just take a moment to recognize Jordan’s sister, Jillian. She was a superhero. When Jordan’s dress needed some altering, she got in there and she made it happen. Pretty sure she deserves a “sister of the year” medal or something.

This is Jamie’s grandparents and this picture makes me emo.

Speaking of emo, the playlist for the night was basically a 2008 emo kid’s dream.
