Sitting down to meet with Holly and Ryan for their initial meeting feels like a lifetime ago. Holly and I had worked together and become friends a couple years back, but hadn’t seen each other in a while, so I was excited to get to catch up. We met downtown and grabbed a drink (I miss catching up over drinks, SOS) chatted for a bit and went over what they were hoping for for their wedding day. I loved hearing about all their little details, the ring bear, what details they were most excited for, etc. And it was so great to get to their wedding date and see all of those little details brought to life!
While Ryan and Holly did have to make some pretty significant changes to their wedding day to accommodate for the global pandemic, they handled it with grace. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: 2020 couples deserve a medal! They ended up changing both their wedding date and their venue. It ended up being a beautiful day. Oh and did I mention….there were llamas!!!
It’s not every day you see a flower dragon and a ring bear at a wedding 🙂
I loved this touch! Instead of doing a traditional bouquet toss, they decided to do a “smoosh toss”, with a stuffed animal. Whoever caught it would be the next to adopt an animal! <3
